Travelling exhibition, Luxembourg, 2022-2024

The Luxembourgish Language(s)

We were approached to curate an exhibition on the linguistically, socially and politically complex topic of languages in Luxembourg. This travelling exhibition explains the country’s multilingual situation, explores what makes the Luxembourgish language, and narrates how attitudes to that language have changed over time.

Historical Consulting developed the concept, wrote most texts, organised all (audio-)visual material, and helped develop the interactives.

The project was commissioned by the Zenter fir d’Lëtzebuerger Sprooch. It was developed together with Nowak-Teufel-Knyrim and Tinetronics.
