History of History Education
The Luxembourg Ministry of Education intends to reform the history curriculum of secondary education. To understand its point of departure, the Ministry asked our company to provide a detailed research report on the history of history education. The aim was to identify changes and continuities in the curriculum in the past 200 years and to explain the factors contributing to them.
Research entailed a thorough examination of secondary literature and all available archival material. The report was presented at a conference in May 2019 and will be published in due course.
