Temporary exhibition, Luxembourg, 2025–2026

We contributed to an exhibition exploring the 1120s. This pivotal decade saw the emergence of regional powers in the Holy Roman Empire, while Pope and Emperor struggled for supremacy over the Church and its institutions. Showcasing several high-quality artefacts from the early 12th century, the exhibition challenges several stereotypes about that period.
In close dialogue with the client and the leading expert on the topic, Historical Consulting co-developed the concept, oversaw the narrative, co-wrote the texts, co-designed the infographics, and developed a children’s brochure.
The exhibition runs at the Lëtzebuerg City Museum from 9 October 2026 until 11 July 2027.
