Temporary exhibition, Esch-sur Alzette, 2022-2024
Forgotten Vicitims
This temporary exhibition focuses on the forgotten victim groups of National Socialism in Luxembourg. As such it presents brand new research findings on the fate of several marginalised population groups: travellers, homosexuals, dark-skinned people, so-called ‘asocials’, ‘prostitutes’ and ‘professional criminals’, as well as Jehovah’s Witnesses. While revealing the fates of individuals as found in the archives, it also raises the question how people relate to these communities today.
We developed the exhibition concept, participated in the basic research, assisted in the selection of images and exhibits and wrote the exhibition texts.
The project was commissioned by the Musée national de la Résistance et des Droits Humains. The exhibition takes place from 13 March until 23 December 2024.
